2011 HIGHLAND SPLASH …
CONTINUE OUR SUCCESS AS A TEAM…
Attention Swimmers and families;
Are you ready for a fun swim
season? The Highland Splash Team is ready for YOU!! The Splash consists
of swimmers ages 6-18... "Beginners Welcome".
Experience equivalent to passing Red Cross Level I-II swimming lessons
is recommended. All team members must comply with the rules and
regulations of the Highland Splash and Midwest Conference. The dual
meets are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning Mid
June. The Midwest Conference meet is scheduled for July 23th.
WHY SWIM?
Swimming is great conditioning for all sports
Highland Splash is a team of over 80 swimmers
Where else can all children in a family participate in one sport?
UPDATES – T-shirts
will be available to order, individual and team photos taken
in June.
DATES TO REMEMBER
April 12th, 2011 - SPLASH TEAM REGISTRATION
4:30-8:00pm, held at the Korte Rec Center, upstairs meeting room.
Cost $85 for each of the first 2 swimmers in a family ($35 for each additional child).
There will be a $10 late fee for registrations accepted after April 12.
All Team members must purchase a season pass to the Highland Community
Pool.
Memberships may be purchased during the registration and/or paid
prior to the first practice.

Team Suits - are available at www.swimoutlet.com the suit description is: Sporti Light Wave. Suits can be ordered during registration at a discounted price.
The purchase of a team suit is not required.
Goggles are required and can be purchased at your preferred retailer or on-line.
Swim caps will be provided by the team (1 per swimmer).
Practice/Training starts the evening of the Cookout & Parent Meeting - June 6th.
Morning practices
Instructions on competitive strokes and techniques is provided
during practice
